Set each meal to IN (feeding in camp) or OUT, with the number of personnel. For Container Meals, Packed Meals, NERTS, or pass-outs, use the dedicated tabs above β this grid covers in-cookhouse feeding only.
Orders close every Tuesday at 10:00am for the following week.

NERTS are ordered separately from the weekly mess feeding cycle and can be requested at any time β there is no Tuesday deadline for NERTS. Submitting an order here generates a one-time collection code, which is also emailed to stores along with the order detail. Whoever presents the code collects on behalf of the whole platoon.
Use this tab for anything outside the normal feeding cycle β pass outs, one-off catering requests, or anything requiring higher sign-off. A permissions document confirming authorisation must be uploaded before this can be submitted.
Book an early breakfast for your platoon. Available between 04:00 and 06:00. Submit as early as possible so the kitchen can prepare.

Two quick questions β help us improve the ordering system and the catering service.
Manually trigger reminder emails to all platoons who have not yet submitted their order. These also fire automatically via the scheduler.
Generates a month-end summary of confirmed covers β by meal type, by day, and by platoon β across all weeks in the selected month. Designed to be opened in Excel where your existing cost-per-head formulas can be applied. This export gives the covers; cost calculation stays in your spreadsheet.
Crown Account Claim (Β£) is laid out like your JMCRF declaration β Code Β· Item Β· Numbers Β· Rate Β· Cost, with VAT and the monthly total, priced from your saved Crown Rates. Daily Totals gives one row per day (Breakfast, Meal 1, Meal 2, Packed, NERTS, DFC) for cross-checking. Container Meals fold into their meal period; DFC = B + Meal 1 + Meal 2 + Packed.
Close Month works one kitchen at a time β pick the Month and a single Kitchen / Site above. It downloads that kitchen's full breakdown CSV (by platoon and all five order types), saves the kitchen's totals into the Yearly Summary so it stays populated, then clears only that kitchen's orders for the month. Other kitchens are untouched. The detailed booking records live in the downloaded CSV β keep it safe. Repeat for each kitchen at month-end.
These are the saved totals shown in the Yearly Summary for closed months. Remove one if it was created by mistake β this only deletes the saved figures, the original orders are already cleared.
The Β£ rates used to cost the Crown account, matching your Monthly Rates tab. Update them each quarter β they apply to all kitchens.
Other / Pass Out requests awaiting approval. Tick to approve or decline each request.
Register each Company / platoon here. They'll receive their unique access code by email automatically. Only registered platoons can access the ordering system. The kitchen is where they will eat and collect their Packed (PM) and Container (CM) meals.
Give each kitchen its own login code. A chef who signs in with a kitchen code (on the Chef login tab) gets the Chef View locked to that kitchen only β its orders, summaries and exports. The master CHEF code sees all kitchens.
Manage the list of sites or kitchens available when sergeants submit an order. Add one per kitchen β works for a single kitchen or many.
